Glo Nigeria just launched a new call Tariff Plan which apparently, is the cheapest so far from the telecommunication network. The plan is synonymous to the Etisalat Easy life 4.0 as well as MTN’s Tru Talk plus.
The plan offers a call Tariff rate of 11k kobo per seconds which can be calculated as approximately N7 per minute. Not just for Glo to Glo networks but to all networks within Nigeria.
As good as this may sound, it comes with two basic downsides but then, if you are the type who makes frequent calls on your glo network, these downsides shouldn’t be of any worries.
Glo GBAM + plus tariff plan
First, there is a daily access fee of N5. Don’t panic yet, the N5 charge will only be triggered if you make a call in a day. That means, if you do not make any calls in a day, you won’t be charged N5 access fee.
Secondly, there is no data bonus upon recharge on the new Glo Gbam+ (plus). If you are the type who usually careless of the free mb given by mobile networks, that shouldn’t bother you at all.
How about international calls? With the Glo Gbam+ plan, you can call 5 international destinations of US, UK, China, India and Canada at a flat rate of 20kobo per seconds.
Based on text messages, local sms rate are charged at N4 per sms while international sms are charged at N10. Guess that’s really cool right?
